Artist Note 세상을 바라보는 방식에 대한, 나의 내면의 목소리를 따른 기억과 망각사이 그 어딘가에서의 일상의 삶의 작은 순간들이 나에겐 가장 심오한 main 주제이다. 살아가는 동안의 깊은 고민들과 무거움을 그렇지 않은 느낌으로 모호하지만 어렵지 않게 표현하고, 또 그것을 표현하는 그 시간을 설레하며, 나 또한 나의 작업물을 관찰하며 관람자와 함께한다. 추상적이지 않으며, 피상적이고 어렵지 않지만, 우리가 충분히 공감할수 있는 여러가지 뒤엉킨 감정이 내포되어 무심한듯 모호하게 표현한다. 감각에 의존한 공감할수 있는 무언가 또한, 소리와 향기와 같은 다른 감각 또한 화폭안의 표현된 아이템이나 배경인 대체제로 표현되어, 그것을 공감하고, 동일한 감성이 아니더라도 나 그리고 당신만의 독립적인 해석으로 남겨지길 바란다. 나의 작품이 전달하고자 하는 메세지에 대한 결정적인 정답은 없다. 여러가지의 상념과 영감 안에서 충분히 고민하고 사색하며 생각들의 파편으로 살아가는 일상의 나 그리고 우리의 이야기들. 그런 일상의 작은 순간들을 감성적이고 순간의 감성에 뒤얽혀 표현한다, 표면적으로는 평온해보이나 그 속의 이름모를 아우성이 요동친다. 복합적이고 때론 중의적인 시의 언어처럼 표면적으로는 고요한듯 서술한다. 유행을 쫒지 않고, 정직함으로. 내손안에, 그리고 주위의 공기처럼, 나의 공간 한켠에 묵묵히 놓여진 하나의 가구처럼, 한켠의 위치한 스피커에서 무심히 들려오는 이름모를 음악처럼, 공존하는, 존재함을 그려나간다. ‘ORDINARY WORLD’ ‘Ambiguity of emotions’ 한가지로 정의 내리기 어려운 여러가지 뒤섞인 감정들 ‘Unconscious small moment’ 의도되지 않은 무의식으로 표현되는 어떠한 순간들 ‘Gestures are another language’ 의도없는 작은 몸짓조차도 소통이나 공감의 언어이다. The small moments of everyday life somewhere between memory and oblivion, following my inner voice about how I view the world, are the most profound main theme for me. I express the deep concerns and heaviness of life vaguely but easily, and I also enjoy the time of expressing it, and I observe my work and spend time with the viewer. It is not abstract, superficial, and not difficult, but it contains various entangled emotions that we can fully sympathize with, and it expresses them vaguely as if indifferently. Something that can be sympathized with through the senses, and other senses such as sound and scent are also expressed as substitutes in the expressed items or backgrounds on the canvas, I hope that you sympathize with it, and even if it is not the same emotion, it remains as my and your own independent interpretation. There is no definitive answer to the message that my work is trying to convey. The stories of my daily life and ours, where we live as fragments of thoughts while sufficiently contemplating and reflecting within various thoughts and inspirations. Expressing such small moments of daily life emotionally and entangled with the emotions of the moment, On the surface, it seems calm, but inside, an unknown scream is stirring. Like the language of poetry that is complex and sometimes ambiguous, it describes something that seems calm on the surface. Not following trends, but honestly.
